Tabula Rasa #01

Tabula Rasa is an independent magazine exploring originality, authenticity, and the commercialization of personal style. Through fashion editorials, deadpan copywriting, and an intentionally self-aware approach to visual design, the first issue examines how self-expression becomes another aesthetic to package, perform, and sell.

Created as a personal portfolio project, Tabula Rasa uses the language of fashion publishing to poke fun at the culture surrounding it, including the contradictions of trying to critique consumerism while participating in it.

Everything is written, edited, and designed by me. However, the models were taken from the Internet, specifically Pinterest. Although I created every T-shirt design, they do include copyrighted images and iconography.
